At present, The QUILL Centre has a complement of 90 staff from 24 countries.  The academics, international fellows and honorary chairs associated with QUILL possess a spectrum of ionic liquids expertise (e.g. synthesis, catalysis, chemical engineering, green chemistry, enzymology, etc.), which promotes the cross-disciplinary research nature of the Centre.  This in turn allows the research staff and students to undertake a variety of inter- and cross-disciplinary research projects at QUILL. 

    The size of the Centre requires the support of both clerical and technical staff to respectively execute the administration and perform ionic synthesis as well as analysis.  The QUILL Centre also supports a science-writer-in-residence who is responsible for all the Centre’s press releases.
